HISTORY:
Born to a socialite and her insurance company running husband, Avery grew up in the lap of luxury but always felt that something was missing. As a child, she became aware of her last life and frequently fought against the kleptomaniac impulses that came with it. She went off to college at Stanford to study to become a social worker (her parents wanted her to find a good husband). At Stanford she met Dan Dodge through her classes and they planed on trying to cure the worlds hurts together. Dan was from a poor family, and when Avery knew her parents wouldn't approve of him, she eloped. Her parents were furious with her but she and Dan were happy. It lasted only for two years before Dan was diagnosed with cancer. Avery's parents refused to let the company approve treatment because it was considered experimental and Dan died within six months. With funeral bills and medical costs pilling up, Avery was forced to move back to New York with her parents where they continued to keep a very tight control on her life. Avery was a mess and for the next six months, she languished in grief, particularly when she learned how much the treatment Dan was denied proved to be working. Angry at her parents, she discovered other people they had screwed over and behan thieving as a way to divert funds to these families.
APPEARANCE:
Tall at five foot ten and slender, Avery has always been a girl of almost delicate beauty right down to her soft blonde waves and china blue eyes. A bit of a fashionista she's always well put together in whatever she wears.
